Oversized bag pictured but this is a couples or adult/kid tent.

You would have to buy one with a queen mattress if you really wanted to share (which I don’t)

I worry about damage from trees. The ozarks forest are a tight squeeze and wonder how well the shell would hold up to bump

It’s no bigger than any of my other rooftop tents and I’ve never hit one of them on a tree.

It’s super thick glass.

Here is another plus. Pop off truck. Set up on sawhorses and blast it out with air hose.

Unfortunately my tent was badly damaged by a forklift operator in transit so I am filing an insurance claim to get a new one from Autohome USA! Thank goodness I bought 3rd party full coverage insurance!

Did the tent work with the expedition rails on the front of the rack, or did you need to remove them in order for the tent to open?

I took them off on my 100. Too close.

I decided on getting the Variant as well. So far I love it. The rear tire step from Frontrunner makes it very easy to get in the tent. I don't even carry the ladder.
