Were the front bearing you ordered pre-assembled with the hub? The ones I ordered weren't. Also curious if the part differs since you're running Tundra front end. I assume not?

Yes, they were preassembled. Order two, one for each side. The part number for the tundra and LC200 should be the same. I am running a tundra BDS steering knuckle that came with a 4.5" lift kit.

Is that a new, extended front link or did you weld that? I've been debating if using an extended link would help with my sway bar angles... like you I mounted on the outside of the cradle, so I think it would help, but then I saw a post where the BDS links were hitting the tie rod so I kinda stopped before purchasing and trying it

Driver side I cut factory link and used 1-1/8” DOM tube with 1/4” wall thickness. The centerline of bolts is 7-1/4” apart. Passenger side is BDS link set at 6”. I extended both links by 3”. With drop bracket lift there is no interference.

Ordered Dobinson 6” MRR rear shocks. I will no longer be using icons. Snapped a top mount on passenger side.

Wow. Man…Icons have been breaking there right and left. One broke last Summer for a guy in our group, and I think he just broke yet another one. Seems to be an Icon trend… Weird. Hope it strapped down ok without the shock…?

Icons are crap, unfortunately most don't want to believe it and must see for themselves.

Dobinson rear shocks are installed. Due to shock length, I bled the nitrogen and recharged it to 150psi. Their range is 130 to 200 psi. They came with 130 psi. Ride is good. I currently have it set at 5 clicks for LSC and HSC. I didn’t change rebound settings yet.

Last weekend I flipped the front runner tray to gain 1” of vertical clearance to park inside garage. Some grinding was required to refit tray. With tight air pressure, I am now able to slowly pull inside garage. 😅

Big Damn Steel? ;)

Awesome build , I would figure you used the BDS kit for the 2007 to 2015 tundra kit , was there a spring choice with the Fox Shocks , do you know the spring rating ?
Did you just buy the parts separately from BDS ?
Did you use the BDS tie rod ends ? And if so what was the difference over stock tundra arms ?
Any issues cutting the crossmember , your committed to 4.5 lift for the rest of the trucks life .
I have been planing a similar lift on one of my 200’s . I was wondering since your doing a diff drop bracket could you use arm off the tundra with the 200 LC arms to keep the wheels more inward .
I’m sure the tires would not hit the KDSS with that drop … something I was just thinking about .

FYI, Frontrunner has started selling again their Low Profile version of their rack:

TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 200/LEXUS LX570 SLIMLINE II ROOF RACK KIT / LOW PROFILE - BY FRONT RUNNER

I know a lot of folks were frustrated when Frontrunner discontinued this version and marketed only the higher profile version, so it looks like they listened to the complaints and brought the low profile system back.

HTH

Thanks. I think I got a kit for a similar year of tundra kit as my LC200, which is 2013. Front springs are 700#per in. That worked well with my weight for bumper and winch. I did not crank the coils. I left them as they came from BDS.

I bought the kit from jack-it offroad. I bought front components only, so I worked with Jack-it sales to remove items related to the rear axle.

I used BDS TREs. They do rub with springs at full lock. Stock TREs will not work they are different sizes of tapered holes. I am assuming you meant stock Tundra TREs.

No issues cutting the cross member. I used a miller plasma cutter and angle grinder. Yes, no going back.

LC arms will work on this kit. Both LC and Tundra A-arms are the same mounting except for the length. You will need a zero-offset 17" wheel regardless due to conflict with TRE and steering knuckle.

Using tundra arms I don't hit the KDSS bar, even with 37s. I recently did BMC to eliminate rubbing. PM me your # if you need any pics for the rig. I can text you pics when I get time.

@gaijin Thanks for Tip. I order a set of low-profile rails this morning. Their inventory is running low.
