Lots of parts. Some of the stuff I’m not sure what it is as my FJ40 came with a lot of extra stuff.

Trade bait: Looking for water pump, radiator stuff, hoses, etc. as I need to replace mine soon.

Located in the Asheville area, but can ship as well.

$25

Prices? If the horn relay says Denso on it, it should sell fast. I am interested in the harmonic balancer, along with the air cleaner bracket that is in the box under the energy bushings.

The horn relay is Denso. I had to wire brush some of the undercoat that was sprayed on by the previous owner.

Was going to PM you but don’t see that option on your profile. Happy to FaceTime if you want me to show you what all is in the boxes. I have rubber window sills from Toyota as well. Not sure if they are 40 specific…which is why I didn’t list them here.

You can post pictures here; that will be fine. 😊 Since the seal surface on the HB looks good, I just need a picture of the pulley side, along with your assurance that the pulley is not obviously damaged (somebody sent me one that a jaw puller had taken a chunk out of  ) If you want to spread the things out that are in the box, people like that. And if you put numbers next to each thing, they seem to like that even more.😉

Please see my first post where I said I don’t know what some of this stuff is…haha. I assume the HB is this?

I’ll get the garage floor cleaned up and put all the parts on the floor tomorrow and post some pics.

Thanks for the followup pics. The hand-crank claw has been milled off the front face, and the back looks like it’s been dropped a couple of times (looks like a little bit of a lip at the edge)

What do you want for it?

Is $100 reasonable? You know more about the parts than I do. ;-)

Nah. Most people looking for that vintage of balancer will want the claw. And with the knurled snout, it's basically a paperweight/doorstop. I would have to have it in hand to know if the knurl is repairable, then assuming it is, wait to find a buyer who would take a balancer without the claw.

It should fit in a medium flat rate box, which costs 18 to ship. I would go $50 delivered, but that's it.

Would the claw be a separate piece or attached? If so please provide a picture so I know what to look for.

I might have it in one of the boxes I have. If not, $50 shipped is ok. I’d prefer it go to someone that knows what the part can do as-is such as yourself.

Cool. Let me know your PayPal address and I’ll get you paid.

FTR, if the claw were a separate piece, the hole in the balancer would be much larger.

Did the horn relay sell?

Just called and left a message. Not sure if my number made it before being cut off. You can put the shipping address in the PayPal notes if you’d like. Let me know if you want me to call back to clarify/confirm.

The horn relay….I had another Mudder interested…I hooked it up to make sure it worked and it did not work, so I removed it from this thread. I think he is interested in trying to see if he can get it to work though.

Harmonic balancer sold to @65swb45 I will drop it off in the morning.

Good to speak today Mark. I also put that other piece you wanted and also the voltage regulator in there as well as a freebie. It is off on the voltage, but maybe you can fix it and use it or something. ;-)

Thanks for the parts, and yeah, it was a good call. So sorry to hear about Casey. But it is nice to know that you are carrying the torch forward on his old rig. I sold my K5 Blazer 3 years ago, after owning it for 41 years, and have never heard once from the new owners.🙁

When I got the 40 it had a bunch of parts…and paperwork. I tracked the owner before Casey and found him on Facebook and he gave me some history and I sent him some pictures. He owned it 20+ years ago!
