Thanks for the clarification. I guess I was confused because on Post #190, ASFIR rep called the currently produced/ordered plates as "Pre-production" order. 😅
All good, I was just doing that so people didn't have to search through the comments to find the answers. Pictures draw attention, hopefully those will answer some of the common questions for people.

Ordered the transfer skid. Hopefully being one of the first will get it here closer to the 4 week time than the 8 week so I'll have it for Red Clay.

A couple more showing how I fit them around my MetalTech sliders and how I used some of the diff drop spacers for the gear skid between the bracket and the plate.

Just wondering why there is the need to put spacer between the plate and the bracket? If by design there is space in between, what's the purpose of the bracket? I thought the bracket is to support the plate?

I want to get the full skids but have a question about the bolt on sliders. I have a pair of white knuckle on order so do you suppose all the custom fab sliders attach at the same spot? Is this the only spot where the skid mounts to chassis and may interfere with slider u bolt?

You're right, the bracket is to support the plate. On an OEM setup, that would be the case.

The diff drop causes the plate to be mounted further away from the frame, so the spacers are necessary. These spacers came with the diff drop for use with the OEM skid plate.

I only have the MetalTech, so I'm not familiar with the exact mounting on the white knuckle sliders.

It seems like the bracket pictured would be the only place that it could interfere with slider attachments to the frame rails. The transfer skid mounts on an inner part of the frame, so I don't imagine it would be a place that sliders would attach.

Sorry I can't provide a more exact answer. I'm just not familiar enough with the other brands of sliders.

Again, I'm not familiar with how all brands of sliders attach ect, but it seems like the bracket pictured would be the only place that it could interfere with slider attachments to the frame rails. thats good enough. i figure the sliders will probably attach at the same spot as yours. there is only so many spots available with ahc onboard.

@ASFIR 4X4 any chance you'd allow combined shipping for multiple orders?
Unfortunately via air-freight it's impossible to do a combined order, there's an option for grouped order tho through sea-freight - it takes longer (by a few weeks) and requires a minimum orders to make it happen. If that sounds like something that can interest some folks here - go ahead and reach out to sales4x4@asfir.com with the number of skids and location you're interested in - we'll do our best to provide informative and helpful answers!

Thanks for the clarification! 👍

Ordered the transmission and transfer case skids. Now we wait.

Awesome :) How long would it take for the plates to arrive given the current global shipping situation?
