I think the only difference between the "kit" I posted and the complete 2JZ kit is that mine has larger outside diameter washers. I just matched the diameter (as close as ARP had available) to the stock 1FZ washers - IIRC, the 2JZ washers were quite a bit smaller OD. I figured it couldn't hurt to spread the load as much as possible, and the head is machined for the large OD anyways...What is the difference?

@Azca, I understand it the same as you (as does the ARP rep that helped me...) Any thread above the nut is just for decoration.
Thanks for this info. It looks like buying the supra kit from Amazon and these washers ala carte from ARP might be cheaper. Thoughts?
