I have a 1976 fj40 project that does not have a key. If I pull a cylinder to get the code to have a key made, will that key operate all the locks?

if all your locks have the same factory key code , then yes .... :)

if all your locks have different factory key codes , mis-matched for all sorts of various reasons ?

then
NO ,....

- the only way to fond out is pull put your passenger side front door lock and examine it carefully for the K- SERIES four digit code ......

- then , request a factory SST machine cut . digital computerized perfect , sharp , true , and professionally code cut K-SERIES 1976 master all metal top basic OEM key blank ,

lube up all lock with WD-40 days , like many days before trying new oem code cut key ,.,

follow these above TOYOTA OEM Factory step by steps , then you shall have a correct final answer for all 4 of your doors locks / ignition / flip down fuel door ....

if you have a bunch of random locks and only or no matches ?

then there is yet still hope for you below .......:)

.

THIS IN THE WAY.....
