sorry for the poor quality pic, but maybe it helps.

Ok, I got that spacer put in as TM describes.

Did you all use the long bolt in photo three from my last post to go from top to bottom all the way through the chassis mount and frame rail? It definitely looks like something goes in the bottom, I can't tell about the top.

Yes used the long bolt. Washer top and bottom. Cut the extra bolt length after you install the nut. Also I'd suggest not using that long tow hook at it will hit everything.

FWIW: Upon request I can supply the longer grade 12.9 bolts with my spressoFAB FRBv2 (frame mount recovery bracket) for use with this bumper.

I need 2 for the front (bolts only). Will they work with the other FRB's?

Right or wrong this is what I ended up doing:

I left the bracket that fits between the frame rail and the part of the winch mount that fits over the frame rail with the most flat surface space "up" against the frame and the two thin edges "down" against the ARB winch mount.

Then for the long bolt going through the frame, winch mount and all I used a couple of spare washers and allowed the excess part of the bolt to protrude "up" towards the top of the bumper.

The final result on the driver side is this:

Thanks for the help, now just need to stick the steel front on and attach the lights.

I would get that bracket welded to the frame if you are leaving it like that. A bolt that long with that much exposed could bend under stress. Unlikely, yes I know, but better safe than sorry when something shifts.

I previously installed a used ARB on my 100 that came with no hardware. To fill the gap, I just welded together a stack of washers, worked great. I agree that you may bend that bolt under load.

ARB Sahara Bar 98-02 install instructions for the FAQ. Don't have the 03-07 instructions.

Are there instructions for the rear bumper floating around anywhere? Did the read bumper change for 03 models like the front bumpers?

comparison shots

98-02- no fog light option, winch mounts to cradle on frame (feet down).

03-07- fog lights, wings sit higher, bumper mounted winch (feet forward), stronger wings.

Angles are the same, clearance in the center is the same, I think the 03+ looks better. The other 100 also has another inch of lift than me, I have the same clearance on the wing portion.

So the difference in fitment can only be seen when looking down vertically while standing in front of the vehicles?
