Hi, Just bought a set of BFG , so far great in the mud and rain. Mike

Went from KO to KM3 (33x10.5 R15) in August and I'm super stocked with them. As quiet/loud as KO. Great on the road, rock, sand and snow (bunch of offload trips to the Sierras and Death Valley). Did not experience mud yet. Grip is fantastic and nothing to say about on-road manners. But I only have around 4,000 miles on them so far. And again, this is my personal opinion/feedback.

Are the 255/85-16 KM3’s available?
They are available...but most seem to be east of the Mississippi, so they need to be shipped...Discount Tire says mine will be here in 3-5 business days(fingers crossed). Most of the websites(including DT) show them as out of stock or unavailable...even BFG's website says they don't have them, but I called BFG and and the guy actually called around to the dealers in my area and found out who had access to them...it was Discount Tire. Good customer service rep, right?

Post pics when you get them (pretty please). Sidewalls & tread @LCReunion

I'll post mine tonight when I get home. Her hood is at the paint shop so don't judge.

Here are mine 33x10.5x15 installed last August.

I just got a set installed on the truck 35x12.5x16's. We'll see how they do in the rocks this summer.

Put a set on my wife's F250 last week. They are significantly louder than the KM2's on the Cruiser.

I had had to KM2's and hope these are better.

The KM2 started great, quiet and smooth. As they aged, they became much louder, and they wore poorly - back side of tread blocks. What was terrible was snow and ice, and they had the snowflake. They were dangerous IMHO.

The KM3's look good, but I don't need the mud performance as much in the West. I was next to a truck with KM3 recently, and I could hear them inside my 60 with KO2's. The BFG KO2's work great for me.

I heard of some problems with km3s after hearing about the problems with ko2s so after many, many years of using at’s I went with geolander muds.
