I am looking to begin a full detail on my 2014 LX including exterior and interior. I purchased Leatherique to condition the seats and have been reading about its use online with perforated leather.

Has anyone used it specifically on perforated LX seats? Any word of advice other than being conservative with its application so that the perforations do not become clogged with the product?

My interior is black if that makes any difference.

Thank you in advance!

I don't have an LX but have black perforated seats in my '15 LC and used it last weekend on probably our last hot day of the year, as I do annually in all my cars with leather seats. No issues, I just slathered it on like usual in the morning, parked it in the sun to bake all day, then used the cleaner in the afternoon. I love the stuff, it really does work, and I see no residue in the little perforations.

I actually didn't have enough cleaner (ran out) so after I was done, I let it dry for awhile, then I wiped the seats down with Chemical Guys leather cleaner to remove any residue, then applied a coat of Chemical Guys leather treatment. Seats are like new now.

I have used it and it works great. Instead of laying on a thick layer with my hands I used an applicator pad just to try and prevent clogging the perforated seats.
