Anyone run a Yokohama Geolander A/T GO15 on their 100 series? (1 Viewer)

Same here after 6+ months, including a severe winter, on tarmac, dirt roads and moderate wheeling :)

Bubbles is currently shod w/ 265/75-16 of these tires. With about 5K on them, I find them to be quiet, sure footed in all weather, with reasonable tread wear.
Had the Revo's about 10 years ago. Loved them, but you are correct that they don't last long (for the price).
I am happy w/ the Geolanders.

Haven't tried the G015s yet but the Yoko ATS - best tire you could run in SoCal, AZ, NV and Baja. Tough, but still light, and super grippy and lasts a long time. They take abuse well. I love the ATS, except they were mediocre in the winter unless heavily weighed down. However, the G015 gets rid of that short coming.

Update on Geolandars:

Just had them rotated the other day (missed the first rotation). I have 11K on them now and tread depth is 15/32nds (started out @ 18/32nds. So about 3/32nds wear which is pretty good since I live off a winding country road and my wife drives the LX like a bat out of hell.

They have been very good mannered so far. Good in the rain, quiet, handle corners well.

We will need to put some more miles on them before passing final judgement on them, but so far, so good. Hope to get 40K out of them before they need replacing (I like keep a fair amount of tread depth on a tire).

I run these on my Subaru Outback and they are great. Had no trouble in the snow, mud or dirt. Quiet and comfortable. My wife drives like crazy in the Outback, so they are wearing a little quick for my taste.

Thank you so much for this post, had it narrowed to Toyo AT3, Revo 3, or GO15. It's the wife's DD so GO15 it is. She likes quiet and comfort, I wanted grip and something tough enough to handle her occasional jumping a curb or ranch driving.

Ran the Revo II's on my 80 series for years. But when they changed the design to the Revo 3, I just couldn't warm up to it. So went with the Geo. There was a Continental Tire that was in my final three as well.

I appreciate the additional info. I ended up going with Geolander G015. So far she is very happy with them, Her words were they are a much smoother ride! I'll update after she has driven in some of our heavy Gulf Coast rain storms.

We get a lot of rain here in Deep East Texas and it 'pools' on the road. I am happy with the wet weather manners of the tire. They don't seem to evacuate deep water as well as the Revo's I've had in the past....but they aren't bad.

I've got just over 40k on my Yoko Geolanders and I'm very happy with them. They might have another 10k (max) in them, but for mostly hwy- and some oddball mud/snow duties I would buy them again asap.

good info

How have you found the mileage on the G015's? I hear they ride nice but can have an impact on fuel consumption. Have you noticed that?

Have had these for almost 3 years now.. and 45,000 miles later they seem to be in great shape. Not sure what life they’re built for.. but 60,000-70,000 seems reasonable?

Mileage, I get about 12-14 mpg (adjusted for my tire size) depending on how aggressive I’m driving.

Running P255/70R18s on my wifes LX. Only a few thousand miles on a mall cruiser. I got rid of E rated 285s since it stays on the road. Such a nice ride now. Since it does not rain ever in So Cal I'm not sure how they are in rain. A while back I had another set of Geolanders but the tread wore down fast. We'll see.
These are smooth and quiet. I like them.

I like Geolander X-AT from Yokohama if folks are looking for a slightly more aggressive tire.

I was really interested in those a while back but unfortunately I could only find them in 265/75/16. Common downside of wanting to stick with 16's :(

@Squashola These are just great tires. with this freeze in Texas no issues with snow or even a little ice. Yoko Geolander G015 is just the ticket for me, at this point I can say these tires are very sure footed when paired with the Cruisers 4WD. Very happy Treadwear as many have said was great but my biggest surprise was the snow & Ice performance.

Getting more experience than I wanted in the snow and ice here too. And I am very pleased with them so far.

I have maybe 1/2 the tread depth left....but they are still working well. I expected they would do so on the powdery snow we got a few days ago, but in my area that was followed with freezing rain....so now we have only ice. My area got hit hard (no power or water anywhere), running the generator for the last few days. But yes.....I like these tires.

I'm doing most of my running around in my 80 series....because it is locked and I have Copper STT Maxx on it....so a bit more capable.

But happy with the Geolandar's.

That's good to hear. I've only heard good things about those tires.
