I was in Loreto Mexico just after Christmas on vacation with the family. We took a shuttle into town one day and I saw this Pig 3 times in this little town. It was always driving so I couldn't talk to the owner but the passenger saw me take a picture of it and waved. I was happy to see it, just curious if it's anyone on here. It's a late model with a little lift, Loreto is about 3/4's of the way down Baja on the Sea of Cortez.
Anyone on here from Baja del Sur?

no idea whose pig however friend of mine was telling me what a great area Loreto is yesterday. Crazy he was telling me about it now I see pictures of pigs.
Think this is the cruiser gods telling me a vaca is in the future and I wonder where we might be going!

Yeah, Loreto is an awesome little area. In about 5 years we are going to do a road trip down the entire Baja peninsula in a Yota of some sort... possibly the Pig.
Here's the resort we stayed at. It was about 30 minutes outside of town. Don't go in the wet season because they don't have many bridges so they build roads right through all the wash-outs and gulleys. It takes them a month or two to clean up all the roads every year.
The mountains around Loreto.
Here are a couple from the town.
One of my kids spotted the rope from the bell tower...of course he had to ring it. He got in trouble from one of the people who worked there.
If you go make sure you check out the Hotel Oasis. They have a great bar & restaurant and some of the rooms are right on the beach with hammocks in front of them. Totally old school! Seafood was delicious there!
