Anyone know what this is? (1 Viewer)

getting ready to drop my motor back in and was looking over the mess of an agnition system. This large heat sink is mounted to the back of the battery tray. There are two wire attached to it but they are on a single terminal. Any idea what it is?

That would make sense since it is in the back of a dual battery tray


I’m guessing that this was also for the dual battery setup....

There were a few mysterious switches under the dash. Possibly for selecting which battery to be using....?

There is also a Jacobs electronics magnum ignition system that I’m trying to figure out.......

Btw that thing with the wires is a battery relay called also battery solenoid I think

Most likely will be the cause of many headaches
