Anyone know if BRAKE BACKING PLATES are still available? (1 Viewer)

For my 8-‘85 fj60, driver side , left rear brake backing plate.

Don’t really need new, but have posted in classifieds & so far nothing. Anyone know of a source? New or used.

Very good & thanks you @GRpufnstuf …but looking at the ad the new backing plate does not have attached the actual part that I need in order to solve my issue. I need a backing plate that has the part at the bottom that holds the bottom part of the brake shoes close to the backing plate. See the attached picture I stole. I need a backing that has the part where the word ‘Pulled’ is in the attached picture.

That part on my backing plate is bent which under hard braking causes total brake failure. Has now happened 2 times & I’ve got to get a remedy. So far my beating it back into shape is not working.

Used part might be the only way to get what I need.

Hey John, they are available new (along with every component on the rear brakes) and they do have that part on them. I should have them in stock too
