Anyone have interior dash trim pieces in anything other than woodgrain?

x2 on the LX trim.

ALthough mine just has woodgrain around the shifter and on the doors. All the upper dash/radio trim/etc is black on mine. Kinda like it that way.

I'm actually checking on a few used consoles, but I'm hoping my insurance springs for a new one and replacement wood kit :)

I contacted Superior Dash about possibly faxing them a copy of the missing trim possibly having it custom cut and today they got back to me saying that someone already did and that they have a template on file :)

They're also giving me a distributor discount ($157 for their kit + $25 for the additional custom part)

Not bad considering all the extra bits this kit has compared to the others

I forwarded Indcruz' photo asking if their kit covers the switches or not :hhmm:

Still waiting on a response from their tech department :meh:

Looks like the Regal Burl is a close match. Not sure how much it will faid but if it were me I guess I would go that way.

Not really looking for a match since the original didn't look all that good to begin with and I'll be replacing everything anyways

I might be adding one of these as well :hhmm:

If you're going to be replacing everything, why not get something more interesting? Why choose something that 99.9% of folks won't even realize is different?

Not suggesting you go with something crazy....but different is good. ;)

Looks good, Nice work dude.

I'm not usually one for these trim kits, but that looks damn sweet!

OK, I have to ask. Your switches, what are they for?
1) Red hazard under heater controls
2) Rear Heater on left near mirror control.

The red hazard is from my old 91 FJ80 and is and controls the relay for my air compressor :)

The heater switch is also from my old 80 and it lets me switch between the dinky OEM horn and the train horns ;)

The seat heater switches are actually used for frotn and rear interior winch control
