It is very important to use the search function for this subject! I would search the tech 40&55 section. Hopefully you havn't made any commitments with this company. Linky

Do a search. I think you'll quickly conclude that they are not a great example of places to do business with!

Vintage Offroad

I bought my FJ55 from Vintage and got a great truck, My only advise is if you plan on buying a Landcrusier thats 20 plus years old, buy a plane ticket and really check it out, I did a search on vintage after reading tha above comments and one guy had a rough experience. There are only a handfull of resto shops that Mudders know and trust so, if you have deep pockets buy one that's been restored. Greg Mushro is a dealer and markets his site and finds Cruisers thats what he's good at. I had a lot of reservations about doing buisness 2400 miles away and I think I got lucky. So unless your going to buy a fully restored crusier from a recommended shop make sure you touch and feel it first, no matter where or who you do buisness with. Good luck and happy hunting!

The reason he has a Michigan number, he move his operation to Flagstaff last year and didn't want to change his cell number which is the number in his ad.

yeah -- i guess if enough people get hosed it's a pretty sure thing. Nice to know there are a few good stories out there. I'll probably just pass anyway. The i told you so's alone would keep me up nights. Thanks everyone.....so anyone out there got a decent FJ45 I can buy already??
