Well that truck had some major hidden issues. Front and rear end collisions, poorly patched up plus the engine compartment and undercarriage wereto oily for my taste. Too many potential pitfalls. So it’s a no go for me. If anyone has a lead on a low mileage FZJ80 or LX450, I would appreciate a heads up.Right now I have them down to $4,500.
I will take it home before I commit myself and do a thorough inspection on it.
How many miles are on your rig and what are you wanting for it?
Possibly interested. What thickness do you feel comfortable that machine can handle?Anybody need a 120V welder? Comes with a Miller gun, upgraded solid brass clamp and big spool kit. Has a regulator, but one of the gauges is broken. No tank or wire. $300

I've got a home depot special Lincoln Weld Pack 110. It's ok for dinky stuff, but I need something to burn on spring perches and do a cut and turn on a front axle. I don't think my Lincoln can give me enough heat/power. Let me think on it for a day, but I'd like to get it from you. If you don't mind hanging on to it, I can have my buddy Ron grab it from you who lives in Olive Branch (you guys know each other, he drives a white LX470).With flux core, it’s rated to do 1/4”, but that stuff is pretty gross.
I do weld 3/16” & 1/4” with it on a casual basis. Gotta go slow. Sometimes make multiple passes depending on the joint.
I don’t like to draw attention to it, but I’ve built both of my bumpers and booger welded my 80 suspension on with this and a Lincoln of the same size.
Did they flute the factory bolt or use an aftermarket bolt like PTG?
@Dustin Messina its tempting me. I’m a 300wm fan. But I already have literally the exact same rifle in my safe. If you still have it after the holidays I may holler at you.
Yeah I’m in line for your mad money before that clown.....
