I'm doing a SOA on my FJ55 and upgrading to 35-37" wheels and I'm considering going with a 17" rim as well. I'm looking for pics of a sprung over pig with 17's to see how it looks.

Anyone care to oblige?

Thanks
Rodney

That's my buddy's BJ70 with a 14BT engine.

Nice.

If memory serves, the FJC steelies were ~4.75" compared to ~4.375" alloys, but probably need spacers with either.

The steelies benefit greatly from stiffeners, like what Hardline Fab (Toy Outfitters, or NCFJ on Mud) offers. Have a buddy that wheels his uber FJC harder than anyone I've ever seen and he can't destroy the stiffened steelies.

The alloys are tough, yet light, and the verbiage regarding the manufacturing process mirrors that of the 80 alloys, yet some claim the LC wheels have a magical aspect....think 'cause they hate FJCs.

If one appreciates the looks of the older FJC alloy wheels, they can be bought for next to nothing.

Tucker, yes I will be SOA
Dave, that's a great looking pig. What paint color did you use?
