I don’t care the first thing about camping or off-roading but, 8 of us can enjoy great music while comfortably cruising!

Rookie question: Can the power and signal wires for the factory amp be used to power an aftermarket amp/sub? I replaced my factory sub and, as expected, there’s really no discernible improvement. I’m thinking of a separate box with an amp and sub.

I did the same thing. I read that someone on this forum had installed the bazooka tube and was pleased with the results. For $115 bucks and about 30 minutes of time I had it installed. I cannot stress this enough: complete transformation. I have read multiple horror stories on here about swapping the amp, and experiencing high level input distortion and buzzing. I highly recommend this route if you are willing to sacrifice a small bit of space for the tube itself.
