A small amount of water will not hurt anything. I am glad you got everything back in order. The coolant is Propylene Glycol and you can read about it at http://www.evanscooling.com/. Its really good stuff especially on big blocks which are known to have steam issues in the heads.

Good info, I just did this to my 4BT powered 62. Damn thing wouldn't heat up.
