Another 85 fj60 Blue #2??

Yeah Dave, it was nice in WY 85 with no humidity and a slight breeze.

I'm cutting off wellheads today. A little warmer back here in East Texas.....

Poor marley.. So mistreated!!!
So this is the infamous Machete huh?!
Need to give you a call soon, finally got a welder and grabbing replacement panels tomorrow. Got some steel to play with too, just going to need a bit of guidance.
 
Let me say that seeing Marley is person was an honor. truly a remarkable piece of art. Quality work at it's finest. I love the bumpers and ladder.

Fortunately, Jason has agreed to undertake the task of Leo. Had it not been for this thread, and the fact he moved to Texas, Leo would probably be still sitting outside searching for the right person to work on him. I showed my wife the before and after pics of Marley, she was utterly amazed. Since she gets out there and pulls parts with me, she knows exactly what rust can do and hide in these trucks.


J- Dont forget to work on Machete some too with your off time :) That carb needs to be put in!

Well got Leo completely broke down.. Damn the rust.

Marley got another photo OP with the herd, as I am calling them now.

L to R-- Leo(stripped down), Machete/Bart, Marley and JOE.

Jas at CruiserYard gave me a great bumper mod idea. So, stay tuned for the upgrade... I'll have my hands full for a bit with Leo.

But it'll be cool and will be offered for all future builds I do.

I know you, Finny, G, and Kline for sure. ;)

Mod will be a 50.00 or less mod for me. But may cost someone else more due to the welding and pipe bending..... :cool:

I have a few items on order, so when the parts show up it won't be much to it.

I could be wrong, but I dont think mods have that level of granularity. You would need Woody to run a report/SQL to get that.
 
Ok, ok, since no one else has the gonads, I will sacrifice my oem fj80 bumper to the cause and let you practice your new bumper design ideas on The Green Willy (begging for love):

Jas, you would know best on that. I just know who usually chimes in after I post something.. usually 4 to 8 cruiserheads.. It doesn't matter to me, I just hope it helps someone else down the road.

Finny, I could do some damage there...;) I've got a great idea for a 80 series.. Been wanting to build it for the :princess: FZJ80 but I'm not allowed to touch it (YET!!)... :mad:
