Nice job, I started thinking about the first scratch comment and I think I decided to just go back do doing a "cheap" paint job blah. She will end up so dented up anyways lol. The other thing is I want to paint her as soon as I get the rear fenders done but I have other body work in the plans for her. They are months away though... to much waiting and not enough time.

I hear ya on that Snowman... I know I'll be upset as soon as I get my first scratch or ding but, Marley will look good until that happens..



Got all the jambs, inner hood, and rear gate/lift all sanded down with 400/600 this afternoon. I'll try and get those BC/CC'd this weekend. HA! I'm ready to start putting Marley back together.

Thanks Finny & OrygunCruiser, It's been a while since I painted but, man I'm very happy today. The color is really nice.. I'll take a few pics in the morning after the 80˚F +/- bake..

Turned the heater on in the shop to 80˚F. I'll leave it there until tonight. Should meet the air dry 8hr @ 80˚F cure time frame, no problems.

Then to the exterior in the morning. Need to change out my ventilation filters as well.

Yes, Marley got 3 coats of base, a drop coat of base, and 3 coats of clear today.. finished about 45 min ago.. Gonna have a beer with my bride and then I'll post up some pics. Marley looks good boys..

Oh the H*LL with it.. 3 coats of base, 1 drop coat of base, and 3 coats of clear.. Here is Marley now in the shop... I'll pull her out tomorrow or the next day to get a really good color shot..

I was really happy the way this Nason paint and clear laid down... Don't let anyone knock its sprayability... HA! new word, (maybe its the FUMES).... But, anyhow, it was nice to work with.

Damn dude you painted everything! Door jams,inside doors and all. Looks great.
My buddy finished my truck as well this weekend. He was getting a glass guy to replace the glass. Can't blame him.

Thanks Joe.. Yes, I will have my glass guy install a new windshield, back glass, and my sliders with appropriate Precision gaskets next week.. Can't wait.
