I think it has to do with the weather. the nicer the weather, the more people find for you to do. All winter long, no overtime. Beautiful summer, overtime! You'll get there, as will I...eventually.

Well I-man, I was hoping to get to Jackson soon for a beer but, maybe before first snowfall..... JEEEEZ!

I'll keep in touch.

Nice bro! So do you have the new front hood bumpers adjusted so that it unhooks ok when you pull the hood release? I don't have new front hood bumpers yet and my shocks keep the hood down when I pull the release, so I have to jimmy something in the hood or on the lever, or get the princess... But once it opens, it's a cat launcher!!

My bumper bolts are pretty close, nothing hangs. I have to help assist the hood a little. Then the shocks will take it up.

Looks like you got a little better angle with the hood springs off then I did. I think those are stronger I would guess mine at 70# and I have to one finger it. But yah man is sure is nice just leaving it up.

I meant for the travel between when you pull the hood release in the cab and when you actually reach under the hood and unlatch it... I have to have two peeps or jimmy something in there...
And once completely unlatched and I begin to raise it, I have to hold my hood back or I feel like its going to go over the roof!

When I pull my hood handle I get a good 1" to 1 1/2" hood pop up. No jimmying or prying up on the hood at all.

Once my hood starts up I hold on to it because the shocks kick in and the hood raises fairly quickly.

Excellent! I need to get some of those hood bumpers!!

Hoping like H*LL

Got home and jumped on finishing up all the little stuff on taping and masking off Blue Marley.

Been running the filtration system w/ new filters all day. Blew everything off etc.. Laid down plastic.. Need to set up fans, mixing station, and put a couple of plastic sheet walls up and...

Now I just need to finish the drivers door, windshield area, wheels and wipe down all the panels again with a tack rag.

Hoping like h*ll I get to lay down the primer as a Father's Day present to myself tomorrow.

Drilled the hole for my new WagonGear antenna mount as well.

I'll let you know how tomorrow goes... I"M HOPING WELL!

Pre-Prime

Got to the primer today. It turned out really well and only have to sags, not runs, I need to address before the BC/CC goes down. Nothing a little 600 grit can't feather out in about 5-10 minutes.

Good Father's Day present for sure. My wife helped out a lot and kept me in check with the proper respirator, snacks and fluids this afternoon.

Used a HF gun and black epoxy primer.

So, I'll catch up on pics.. starting with pre-prime to 3rd coat of primer.
