Wow, that is amazing. I sent this thread to a few cruiser buddies. Keep it coming.

Gorgeous! Can't wait to see it in the light...

What color combo are you going to do for the headlight doors, side vents and grille?

If I may suggest....On my first 60 (Ingrid) I did a combo of low gloss black and a color called "Cast Coat Iron"

Trapper, I am going satin black on everything... wheels, bumpers, sliders, roof rack, mirrors, and all trim.. No chrome will remain on the exterior.

Thanks Jas, I need 2- FJ60 wheels shipped up here.. Need to start my trailer build parts collection going. No need for top condition wheels. I'll blast them and satin coat them to match Marley.

PM me and let's get those coming.

Wow nice work! Are the spacers on yet? I wouldnt mind getting some but am worried about if i flex the wheels will rub the outer guards

maat, no not yet. I had 1" on the same suspension setup on my last one and no rub anywhere. Went a little thicker for a wider stance. Should be fine I'd think.

...just saying....that extra masking and addition of the cast coat iron color sets it apart from the usual "Shake and Spray - Blacked-out look"...

Looks amazing so far though...

B-A-utiful!!
Nice work my man! (any chance of talking you into a shackle reversal?) ;)

Thanks Finny, No not yet on reversal... This is a heavy/heavy kit and with the rear bumper and roof rack the stink bug goes away significantly. Still slightly higher in the rear though. Also, Marley is headed downhill in the pics.. driveway slopes that direction making it look even more "STINKY".

I figure when I add the cargo drawers (another build to come) and the trailer it will sit right where I want it.

I think you'll like the look....black and dark gray...not really contrasty, just a little detail oriented difference that makes it look more thought out than just hitting the whole thing with one color...more factory.
