You going to Monstaliner and then paint over it so it's all the same color or two tone?

Finny, Paint, let it cure for about a week, then apply the Monstaliner. But, yes it will be two-tone when done.

You've got an eye for this thing and I'm sure it's going to look amazing based on your work so far!

Good talking to you this morning, makes me even more amped for our road trip! Shoot me a call or pm or whatever when you look that stuff up. Cheers!

Nice solar panels in that last pic. I bet a guy like you could fab up a sweet rail under the floor of your roof rack to accommodate slide out, on-board power that doubles as a canopy...

D,

Actually, a solar panel or two will go on my next project... TRAILER BUILD WOOHOO!!!!:grinpimp:

It's been awhile since I ran Blue Marley. He fired right up and I took him around the block a few times.. I got some weird looks.. No windshield, lights, bumpers... HA!. Did the loop through the alley, behind the shopping center etc..

Then got to the scuffing and sanding of the inner door areas and jambs.

It was a fun morning.

Here's a few pics of the scuffed and sanded doors etc....

Plan to finish welding out and smoothing the gas can/cooler rack tomorrow.

Try and get some block sanding of the body started too.

Hey bro, not sure about you, but I found it much easier to pull the plastic tabs off the door and insert them in the weather stripping door seal then install the seal onto the door.

Your the second or third person to say that. The mottled look it has now is kinda unique.

I think we should call it "industrial camo"

Trendsetting!!

A pillar grab handles off 80 series

Installed the A-pillar grab handles this morning I got from arcteryx.. Thanks Jason. These are off an 80. Easy upgrade with a HF Rivnut gun.

Now on to a few spots I need to address on the body filler.. Low spots were found.

Just what I needed to see! I have some extra GHs and I wasn't sure how I was going to fasten them! Home much was that gun? The wife is having a hard time getting in and out lol.

Edit: I am not seeing that gun on HF website

Edit again: ah I think I see it, then realized I have one, thought it only did rivets. Where do you buy the threaded inserts for it?
Amazing work as usually btw

Rivnut Gun

Snow, I think I paid $10 for it and it came with the nuts.. Here's a pic of the packaging.. I used the 1/4" x 20 rivnuts and new bolts from the hardware store to match the rivnut thread. The GH's are pretty darn solid. I'm a big fella and they don't move much when I pull on them.

Looks like Pittburgh item #1210.
