Got a oem cap in the mail. Man I'm a sucker for all this oem stuff but it just looks so perfect!

Man your and Tucker's restos are like twins

Steel ruler and exacto knife. The rubber is a little thicker than an 1/8 of an inch, you can order it on Amazon.

I got all my wiring stuff from Coolerman and really need to tackle the wiring harness, except things keep coming up around the house. Have to rod the sewer line today and its snowing.

Don,
I'm getting ready to install my shifter boots and transfer boots. Does the inner transfer boot go below the hump or on top of it? My brain says on top but my old pics look like it was below the hump. Looking good btw. I am going to be installing the fuel tank and cover and front heater this weekend.

It goes on top of the hump, it becomes kind of a gasket for the outer boot steel retaining ring. Your rig is looking great too Colorado, I'm working on my harness and will be hitting you up with a ton of questions.

I have my rear harness connected to everything except the rear side markers and tail lights. I am working my way back. I have to drill holes along the way in the tub and I hate doing that. Anyway. I will document it as I go for you. The wife just had twins yesterday so we are adjusting.

Haha, two mustards with nut/bolt restorations. I'm going to use their thread for my "how to" when putting my doors together. That rig looks FANTASTIC!
I love how your mustard resto is going! I'm doing a 73 in mustard as well. Keep it up!

So finally got some more work done to the truck. C Dan got me some of my grommets and other stuff. Got my new bumpers on my pedal assemblies. I got my parking brake cable installed with the re-zinced hardware.

Finally finished my most dreaded job, the front wiring harness with a lot of help from our own Coolerman! I added a couple of new needed connectors, burnt my hand with the soldering iron, and re-wrapped the entire harness with Mark's tape as per detailed instructions. Thanks again Mark! Them using Woytovich's awesome wiring harness thread, I tagged all the connectors and terminals for easy identification. I really took my time with the wrapping and I think it came out great.

Fantastic work. Looks like I'm just slightly behind you in progress. Too bad we're so far part. The two trucks would look good together.
