1.375" wider. Really? Measured out to 1/1000 of an inch. Are you sure you're not a aerospace engineer? LOL.

Yeah I'll stop by maybe Saturday after cars n coffee?

Just picked up the interior mount and I love it so far. Unlike the pictures, my tire fits very snug. I have to push it into the mount. It is a 315/70R17 M/T on a 8 inch wide wheel. There was no movement to speak of this weekend at Ocotillo Wells. And it holds my 10" sub snugly against the 2nd row seat. Perfect! Now I just have to paint it.

Some pics of the new design

• New design will bolt down to any flat surface. Pickup bed or 4Runner....
• Can be used without the PUMA mount but requires drilling 2 hole in the floor
• Can be used on either side when a PUMA mount is used
• Carrier only add 1/2" width to a 35" tire
• 35" tire fits snug

Our carrier has been roll over and end over end tested with zero damage and reinstalled on the customers new 80.
We still make custom width carriers at no addition cost. A short waiting time is needed.

As I make my Xmas parts list, does anyone know the model Puma that is best for this setup? Planning to get this tire holder with the puma plate closer to the holidays along with a bunch of other crap for the 80.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Awesome!!!

And thanks again for the battery hold down kit. That thing is down right perfect!!

Cheers and be back soon for one of these.

I have 315-75-16’s on the 80. Do I need to order a custom size or will your standard one work for that size tire?

And what’s the best way to place an order? Feel free to PM me if easier.

And thanks for the advice on the Puma. Placed that order and ready for the rack now.

They fit your tire size, it’s probably the most common size they are used for.

Thanks for the feedback. I saw the earlier thread mentioning that the 305 fit snug. Just wanted to make sure so I didn’t order the standard when I should have ordered a slightly wider version.
