I just want you to drive that 40 of yours down this way so I can check it out! Maybe even bring a load of Scepter fuel cans down to us!

As pricey as they are I may need to stagger them out when I buy some. I am wanting to put 3 in my carrier and use the remainder of the space for a large ammo can, maybe a mortar can, to store stuff in.

I need to re-install my confer rear tank... then I don't have to worry about jerry cans.. :)

I never realized those cans were hard to get in the states! I was just at teh store and they had 15 of the 20L ones and 8 of the smaller 10L ones.

Yeah, unfortunately they have been outlawed down here due to safety concerns and environmental problems.

Although I have spilled more fuel with the newer cans than I have with the older ones in the past.

Oh wow next time im coming down ill be sure to hit you up to see if you need any brought down.

Definitely keep me in mind! Any time you are down in western Montana hit me up, I am planning at trip up towards Glacier park to do some fly fishing this summer. I am taking the wife and kids back east to Maryland at the end of July to visit her family, I am hoping to get another trip up north sometime in September.

Here is some "Can porn".... well that was weird hahaha

Put new wing window rubbers in today from city racer. They look a whole heck of a better than the old crusty ones! Now it is time for weatherstripping for the hatch and doors.

Also saw a 55 yesterday in Missoula

Great truck!!

Hope that’s a beer can on your rear tire and not a fly reel... any activity out there? On dries?

That is my reel, I made sure it landed in my bag before I left. There are a ton of stonefly nymphs in the river ready to start hatching, it should get good here in the next couple of weeks. I fished a #10 dry fly the whole day, it was more of a scouting trip than a real fishing trip.

Law says that you have to stay below the high water bank in the river bottom, there are a few good runs about a mile or more from the parking area that I was looking at today. Once the flows increase from runoff it may be inaccessible by foot.

That reel started acting funny today while casting, every now and then it would just free wheel line off of the spool, kind of like the drag was set to “0” or something. As soon as it came to a stop it would work fine for a while.

I’ll need to check that out, maybe it needs a little lube.

Old fart in the parking area called my Cruiser a Jeep. F***er.

I told him “Barbie drives a Jeep”.
