They used to sikafkex then powdercoat, which resulted in leaks. They changed their process.

Figured this might help someone out in the future...
I was able to find some Alu-Cab roof rails in order to retro fit my Gen 3 RTT to full length rails.

I am not sure if I will mill the back end down to line up with existing track or just bolt it on as an additional separate track yet.
Guessing the aft rails on a gen 2 extend a couple of inches farther forward. These new rails, if milled to match will start about 3 inches further back than a gen 2.
Either way it will be a far better mounting solution for longboards, I hope.
