Anyone have a known good brand/part number for a proper length Crank -- Water Pump -- Alternator belt for their 62 series? My local auto parts store gave me an "equivalent" according to their system that basically requires the alternator to be at its maximum travel to tension it. After a couple of hours of running, the belt wore in and can no longer be tightened.

The PS -- Smog -- Alternator -- Crank belt they gave me is fine.

I used Gates TR22588

+1 on getting the triple belts from Cruiser Matt's.

My 1990 FJ62 belts were in that odd zone where it needed a specific size.

We have OEM and high quality Japanese belts @ Cruiser Outfitters

The Fan & Alternator belt is this:
Thanks. I'll look into those offerings.

Also I can say with certainty that the Gates TR22588 doesn't come even remotely close to fitting anything on an '89 FJ62. At least they'll take it back
