Yeah, that's a life changer there. They use a lot of voltage on run up but once warm they percolate at a very modest rate of electrical consumption. Do you have an auxiliary tank or do you fuel out of your main tank? They work great in sailboats too, even at significant angles of heel.

Ouch!

Could you explain what is the reason to change for the HD bump stop?
Looking at it I feel it would limit the articulation of the rear axle, or am-I missing something?
Yup, limit articulation. Correction, to limit full compression.

One thing I found to be a pain is that when the awning is deployed and it is raining water runs down the back of the cap on to the opened hatch and drips onto the tailgate. So I came up with a rain gutter. Piece of 2x1 angle aluminum. Put a bead of silicone to seal between the bottom of the cap and the gutter. Will see how good it works.

Geez, I complain summer is too short in Calgary (and frankly, it is!) but you have it far worse up there. Such beauty and such a short window of opportunity…

how were the bugs? I love trips north this time of year.

we used to drive up the Graham road and camp on this beach, fly in guys got really angry so they dug up the roads... that did not stop us either so then they closed the area to motorized vehicles, except for planes.
