Air Intake Hose - Near OEM Replacement all F2 Motors

Curious about the FJ60 hose... since the OEM part is all one piece, including the curved portion that fits into the grille, what are folks doing to have this new hose fit properly? I'd like to make the upgrade, mine is deteriorating and duct tape only cuts it for so long.

Anyone have a picture of this mated to the FJ60 intake at the grill?

Another reasonable solution

I was over at Advanced Auto and found this product. It lists at $20 and is about 28" when fully extended which is enough to make a three hoses for a 2F. It's spec'd as an air intake an I will be curious to see how well it holds up to heat.

Yeah...that's what I bought at first before I thought there had to be something better. Really no comparison for $8 bucks more. But it it works for you. I took mine back after finding what I use.

Like Noah, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe not drainage but dust collector hose. I sure wouldn't pay to see a sample of it unless I got some sort of RMA or such-(-just in case I was right)-Who manufactures this?
BTW paypal is notorious for selling their customer's personal information--I would think again about my association with this co.

It no secret. It is exhaust hose used by fire departments to have their rigs running while inside. It's designed to be crush proof, high temp and will outlast the land cruiser (debatable I simple cut off what you need so you don't have to buy the entire big piece for $125 to $200 plus tax and freight. It is actually better material than the original. I make a few bucks for the trouble and just take that paypal money and buy more stuff for one of my four land cruisers. If anyone wants a sample- it cost $5 for the ride.
