Has anyone installed a small roof top Air conditioner like the ones on campers onto an Fj40 Roof!
If so, how did it work out? Any pictures. Wondering how the roofing would be reenforced.

For a passenger why not the factory style. See under the dash evaporators for sale. Then just dealing with the duct from the blower to the heater for clearance. There is also a style replaces that duct with an inline evaporator. Then it replaces the upper grill on the 9/73 plus heaters. Both still require the condenser and compressor like factory air conditioning. Advantage of the first option is the passenger gets the most cooling which might be a good thing in your case.

Roll windows down. Open cowl and kick vents. New 2 gallon bug sprayer with distilled water and ice. Wand yourself down every 15 minutes. Worked for me and the wolves at 0 dark 30 @115 in Bullhead City Az.
