The 2nd gen 4runner in the show had a 3.4l v6 swapped in to purge it of the 3.0lIsn't that the same model and engine that was in the Alaska race on TV ?
Not hugely motivated to sell. but I've kind of realized I can really afford both vehicles, and if I had to choose the cruiser wins. And without carrying a camper or something I really don't have a real use for it. It is fun though.Feeling the market out or are you serious? Would be sad to see it go...such a cool truck.

Thanks, and I will be adding the pyro. Probably going to order one of those digital ones. They give you to option of a weld on bung as well.Nice, i like it. Drill and tap for a pyro while you're there.
Just a hole saw on a drill press. Kind of cooked it on the last hole though. How did you make the holes in the square tubing? Did you use a mill?

The other 1st gen 4runner had the 2.4l 22re
I seem to remember them saying it had a 3.4l, but I could be wrong.I think the 2nd gen had the original 3.0, cuz they said it had 150 hp. 1st gen did have 22RE, which died.![]()
