Turboner....

So , about your better judgment....good thing you didn't listen to it eh? :flipoff2:
Haha. Pretty much yea. Not that I ever really listen to it.
I paid a lot for it relative to the size of the holes that where in it, but there still hasn't been another one for sale since that I wish I had waited for.

Nice to see it all back together and working. Can't wait to check it out. That has been a quick transformation really; nice work. Like a whole new truck now.

Have you touched the fuel yet?

Thanks, and yea I turned the fuel up a bit so far. Without turning it up the turbo didn't respond until over 2000rpm. Now it starts almost right away. Still can't reach 1200 on the pyro

Like it alot....now your gonna have to school Jimbro on the trail with your crazy wheeling skilz.:beer::lol::lol:

Greedy transmission...... stealing all the t-cases oil.

I guess It's time to make a transfer tube.

I took a break from cutting and welding on the 60 project... by cutting and welding on this one.

I built my bumper 2 years ago, and I was never really happy with how the tube sides turned out. It wasn't really what I had planned, part of the problem was the tube bender I was useing wouldnt bend a tight enough radius. So it left the tubes looking kinda "swoopy". I'd call it that anyway.

So I decided to re do the ends. The center section was always quite solid so I left that alone and built sides to kind of make it more of an ARB style.
Didn't really take pictures when I was building it, to busy thrashing to get it done in a few hours.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. one dimension ended up a little out, but it will probably just be me that notices it forever.
I'm thinking of building the bush bar section next to make it a full ARB ripoff.

Made a bit of progress this weekend. Pulled the motor from the donor truck and installed it in the new frame. Still need to make the 5 speed mount to where the 4 speed was.
The donor is a 70 we picked up in uculet, and probably the nastiest rusty cruiser I've come across.
540,000km but it seems to run great. Needs a pressure washing bad.
