Putting contactor on my 7/7/77 Warn 8274. It's got the old metal plug receptacle that intrudes into control box about 1.5".
Is there a cheap replacement for this plug in? I'd like to keep the receptacle where it is. I see warn has the "new" version (1980 and up) for about $40. Ouch.
The newer receptacles seem to be fairly flat on the inside. What are you folks using with early warn when switching from solenoids to contactor?

I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to accomplish, but I assume you’ve got a box that looks like the one in the first photo?

I swapped mine to the setup in the second photo. I absolutely love it.

I’ve conveniently forgotten what it cost, but it sure works good!
