On the doors, have you tried a new set of striker plates? They worked wonders on my doors.

I have new ones. I think the body is twisting which is causing the issues.

Future plans may include a 3fe? Maybe a 5 speed too?

Gotcha, I am a big fan of an overdrive. Took the LV up to Overland, about 3.5 hrs on the highway, and it was not bad at all. She is comfortable to drive at 70mph which allows me to get farther before I head off road which is nice. I don't mind the bench seat. Bouncy, but plenty of room for man spreading so I can get comfortable.

Jeez.......I have taken the LV farther than most. I am tired of suffering my own comfort just to drive an old truck. It wears on ya.....I know you understand this. My ears are also much happier with music verses wind and motor noise.

I bet if you put your LV body on your LX chassis they would appreciate your posts more. I could be wrong though.
