The last missing piece to the dash is installed. The vent pull.

Since you can still buy these filters from Toyota and they are so dam cool. I decided to eliminate the wacky fittings they use. I fixed all that by retaping the housing to except standard pipe threads and a hose barb. I swapped on a glass bowl for the cool factor too.

Took the wagon out to do some cruising and mine exploring. Was a pretty good day. Got cut alittle short as my gas tank started to leak though.

Collected a couple glass bowls from a few old Cruisers I bought over the years.

Man, what kind of car was being eaten by the earth there ??

It is some kind of truck. It got partially unearthed when they did some grading on the road up the mountain. I want to dig it out to see if it can be identified.

Who knows, there might be things hidden behind that truck. I had a friend years ago explore an old mine and inside one of the vehicles he found a very early pair of Levi jeans. They were rough but sold for over 1K and now would sell for even more.

Pulled the gas tank out last night. My Pops is gonna drop it off at the repair shop today. Hopefully the turn around is quick.

Since the LV is down for repairs and the weather is great, I took the 40 out to the Verde River.
