that front bumper is nuts... looks like it could take some incoming fire..

Yeah, it really is. The guys who designed it aren't off-road guys at all which allowed creativity into their design. So many of us that have been doing this for 10 years have a very exact picture of what a front bumper should look like (I blame ARB, Kamar, etc). These guys started from nothing and asked questions like, "How much impact should it withstand?" and "How can we FULLY protect the winch from theft and impact?" After asking themselves 10 or so questions, this is what they came up with.

Got the first tool box done; showing that whoever sits on the tool box will have to be a small child. (I'm 6-3)

Tool box complete - it came out almost exactly how I had it built in my head. The other side is about 50% done

This build is awsome,on ya guys, you blokes deserve a medal for what your doing.

Now thats a roof rack!

^ *cough* *cough* :D

As far as Land Cruiser parts go, we are all set. We are buying some of the other big-ticket stuff like on board air, sand ladders, pul-pal, etc. so any financial gifts would be the most helpful unless you want to purchase something and have it sent our way =)

Thanks in advance!

Nice built guys, but reverse those rear shackle, they are upside down.

Yeah, I've known they were wrong ways for a while... I didn't catch it until some of the guys were already done installing the kit. Its at the bottom of the priority list right now. Something that will definitely happen before we ship it away though.

Thanks for the heads-up!

weekend update

I haven't put up any pictures in two weeks, so heres some of the progress. We are getting very close o driving the rig again.

We've been ordering and getting a lot pf parts.

We got the pull-pal in. For anyone whos never seen one, it makes a winch useful when theres no tree to winch to.

The roof rack is coming along very well. We expect to have everything done and off to powder coat this week. We decided to use .125 6061-T6 on the walls of the rack. .125 perforated will make up the floor
DSCN1960.JPG

We've been TIG welding all the aluminum on the roof rack.
