Let me first start off by saying that I know nothing about the process of re-chroming. A friend of mine told me about these guys; www.electroplatingelpaso.com

They charged me $340.00 including shipping for everything that you see in the photo below minus the plastic vent trim, they can't re-chrome plastic parts.

Again, I know nothing about re-chroming. For all I know they may use the cheapest chroming process out there. Time will tell as far how well the finish holds up. I do have a price list they quoted me for the individual pieces you see here, if anyone is interested.

If you want to get an estimate for re-chroming, email Ruben at elpasochrome@aol.com. Send him a photograph of your part/parts. The turn around was about 3-4weeks. Real nice people to deal with.

Looks good. I don't think you got beat. Chrome isn't cheap and the door handles work so smooth when cleaned up. It will be worth it when you get the pieces on the wagon.

Scrapdaddy, I'm glad to hear you say that. The first outfit that gave me an estimate quoted me $1,600.00 and wanted me to remove the rubber handles from the window cranks.
