Are you going to use the factory oil pipe with banjo? Either way could just buy the banjo bolt, it's cheap. Let me find where I posted the info and I'll come back with a link
I've probably got a correct banjo bolt for it in my stash, but the question I have is what size banjo bolt do I use. 8mm? 10mm? 14mm? I am not using the stock/factory turbo, or oil pipe--but I would like to be able to in the future. To that end, I'm considering drilling and tapping it to match the stock banjo bolt, and then fitting an adapter from that factory banjo bolt to JIC 4 (which is the size of the oil line to my turbo).
Dan, I can't remember, are you running a CT26? If so, then I vote for the banjo bolt and the 1HDT pipe.
Nope. Not stock. It's a TurboGlide setup. Which is a GT28RS turbo. Using JIC 4 oil pressure line. But the banjo bolt would be simply to make it so that I *could* use a CT26 and stock setup someday--if I wanted to.
Are you guys talking about a banjo bolt for the turbo oil supply that has a 1/8npt fitting in the top of it? Link?
I am doing all of this to avoid NPT threads. Toyota doesn't use NPT with oil lines, and I really would prefer to stay as "stock" as possible.
Here's what I am looking at:
