Finishing up installing the ac in my fj73 that’s being engine swapped with a 1hz, but can’t figure out what to do with the likes of the ac amplifier.
All the parts for the ac that I got came from an early hzj79
-compressor
-evaporator
-control panel
-drier receiver is new and so is the condenser up the front
So I need to get the wiring sorted with an ac amplifier and the loom for it too.
Do I try and source one from a hzj79 to match the other components?
or fj73/75 to match the original wiring loom or are some ac amplifiers interchangeable ?
Or another option can I still use the oem controls whilst bypassing the ac amplifier but still allow for it to regulate and not freeze up ?
As well I won’t be using any functions related to idle up ect because of the engine swap and no rpm
At the moment it’s at an ac shop getting some flexible lines and regassed so it’s all cold and ready to be wired up
