Appreciate all the replies over the years. It's a shame this issue is so expensive to fix, mainly the parts.

For anyone searching in the future:

My HZJ105r 1999 landcruiser started making minor vibration and noise from the brakes assembly, not sure what part, and the ABS light flickering non-uniformly. I've garaged it immediately 'cos I don't want the brakes to fail while i'm driving it.

My error codes are as follows:

11 - ABS Solenoid Relay Open or Short Circuit
34 - Left rear wheel speed sensor signal malfunction
41 - Low or abnormally high Battery Voltage or Open IG1 Circuit
49 - Break-light Switch Open Circuit (Trouble Area: Break Light Circuit)
54 - Pressure switch malfunction (Trouble Area: Pressure Switch (PH or PL), Pressure Switch Circuit)
56 - Accumulator Low Pressure Malfunction (Accumulator, Pressure switch (PH or PL), Hydraulic brake booster pump motor)

I'll probably start by taking it to a professional to get diagnosis. Depending on the response I'll be trying to get a reconditioned motor and see if that fixes it. We have a place here in QLD Australia that you can send them away to and have the coil and brushes reconditioned/replaced.

I really don't want to spend the USD$3500+ (not including shipping to Australia, about $500) on the full kit, but it really seems to be looking like I will have to. Only real way to get her back on the road quickly and ensure it's safe to drive long term.

I will reply here in a month or two when it's resolved.

EDIT: I have just realised I might be able to remove the fuses and bypass the ABS system altogether, so I will be looking at this for the best option!

I'd focus on these two, to start diagnostics:
34 - Left rear wheel speed sensor signal malfunction
41 - Low or abnormally high Battery Voltage or Open IG1 Circuit

Just today to mechanic to diagnose abs and brake system dash lights and alarm buzzer on my 2001 crzr 105Hzj. No indications other than lights and alarm, brakes fine, no leaks, fluid fine etc. No OBD reader til next year model so wire between ecu contacts to get codes .. 31, 41 .. R & L front speed sensor signal malfunction, and 51 .. brake actuator motor blocked.

Mechanic advised usually remove & send away for rebuild, cheaper than new Toyota part .ca. $3500, but didn't ask where they send or likely cost. Your fuse based fix is of interest .. let me know how you go. BCR Brakes in Cairns may have refurb ones in stock apparently .. closed til 11 Jan 2021, as are Baker Automotive, who did the diagnostics.
