Hello everyone, im new around this parts. Im thinking of buying a pig for restoration, but in this country (venezuela) i have only seen 3 in all my life. But one of them belongs to a friend of mine thats thinking in selling it. Anyway, if i both it i will begin a treat on his restoration. All that said, this post is about a great "prospect" pig :p for restoration that i found in Lima, PERU. It belongs to a fisher men that drives his car in to the shoreline to pick up his fishing net, then he carries around 500 kilos of fish in the back.... now you can imagine the pig conditions lol :D

Good basis for a resto there.
Its got good headlights, glass and steering wheel.
The rust in the front fenders is pretty scary though. Id be trying to source a couple of new ones.;)

That one has just a little more rust than mine did when I started!!

You prolly have high hopes of bringing this :pig: back to life, but I'd keep looking. I bet there is rust on every piece of metal on that rig, being driven to the ocean & that fish stinch will be permanently embedded. Keep searchin dude, you'll find a better candidate ;p

i would love to see that on overhauling... chip foose would have a coronary!
course chip foose would probably say screw it and fab the body from scratch
