I saw that, thanks for the heads up. Lash is checking on those and the tires for me. I think the tires will be the retro look I am going for but the downside is they are not radial. I don't know if they would do well with infrequent or short drives.

go with a 33x10.50-15 BFG TA K/O. That should give you the traditional look you are going for and you will be able to drive it down the road.
A 40 drives bad enough, why make it worse with horrid tires.

AMEN to that! You'll never be satisfied with bias-ply tires. Plus, as long as you're likely to have the same tires on a non-daily driver (Bodean is a good example), the extra money spent up front to get good tires will be worth it
I thought about those, but he has 4 inch springs and I was thinking more about a 2.5 inch so it will fit into my garage with the hard top on. If I did go that route I guess I would also need the shocks, bushings, and U bolts. The kit I am looking at is form **** Creek and is $636, so I didn't know if buying them separately would be better on the wallet, or let me get better shocks.

Also talk to Lash about doing 2.5" lift and 33s only to do it all over again with 4" lift and 35s. At least do the 4" with 33s. Then add extended shackles and 35s later.
