Also, since I was jus sitting in the truck for 13 hours straight, I decided to do some experiments.

AC on up hill
AC off up hill
AC on Down hill/flat
AC off Down hill/ flat

The results were that the truck water temp got as low as 181 and as high as 198. The gauge needle moved only very slightly across that range, and would likely be unnoticeable if I weren't starring at for hours at a time.

However, the slinky springs are really starting to piss me off, they make a LOT of noise popping and snapping, banging into the bucket mount, which I already trimmed
Same situation - did some cycling yesterday can't figure out how to remedy the slinky noise...if anyone has figured it out please post up

Not sure if you have moved you axle forward, but if you did it Exaggerates The issue. The springs are most likely rubbing on the bottom of the spring Tower/ bucket.
When I was running slinky’s I trimmed the lip back to the frame and it help considerably.

Yes I did move the axle forward..will hit it with a grinder thanks broski! @Noahrob sorry for the jack I was hoping to insert a quick fix like take a 1/2 pound of jelly belly flops and melt them in the rear floor heater then it will balance the spectrum focus and there's no more noise

Been thinking about this... with the axle slightly forward and depending on caster correction. The lower coil seat is at a different angle and location. I was thinking of a shim that set the coil at a more correct angle at ride height on the axle side. like a tapered half circle just tacked in place to see if it helped. This might help with bananaing of the coil aswell.

I have been happy my "3L" 1" forward Delta arms with my 3"/75mm Slinky coils.
I did try to do 1" forward with 2" of lift without enough caster which  the coils & probably freaked a few folks out, I'm sorry for that.
If one does go forward you need to have enough caster. The Delta arms do have 1* extra caster engineered into the arms.

NICE, Noah finally threw down some coin for some Delta arms Eh?

I have had popping in the front buckets & can not find the cause, but be rest assured it has happened with the 4 others sets of coils besides my Slinky coils.
If I could have someone walk beside my rig while articulating & bet it can figured out. Now for the slapping I understand the slinky sound you refer to. It happens with all coils that stack turns. As far as the wide offset from wheel spacers & 1" forward at stock bump stops my tires also rub the front skirting just a wee bit. I did push forward the skirting like you did. I can post pics if you would like but this is you thread not mine.
The front axle and new delta arms performed flawlessly. However, the slinky springs are really starting to piss me off, they make a LOT of noise popping and snapping, banging into the bucket mount, which I already trimmed...They are likely on their way to the parts bin once I save up a few more $$$ for something else. The only other learning was that with the wheel spacers, which were great, (I felt like the slightly wider track width helped a lot with off camber situations) and the axle moved forward an inch, I was rubbing the front lip of the inner fender at full turn. I unbolted it and used a pair of huge channel locks to bend the piece out of the way. I will use a self tapping screw to secure it in place later today.
Happy Trails to you all...

The springs catch on the lower lip of the coil bucket. that lip has a semicrcle cut into it to help clear the coil, when a lift is installed or the axle is moved forward the coil is no longer inline with this relief cut and the extra thick slinkys add to the issue.
Remove the spring and cut the lip away.

Like Gary said, if you have enough caster for you lift, or even a little extra like I do then the springs should set in the buckets correctly.

Oh yes, I fogot I did that.
Yes grind that lip off. One can do more buy bolting up a 90* bent aluminium... I used a 1.25" bump stop. Hope this helps...

I broke my foot a few months ago and have been losing my mind, no running, no hiking, no dirt bike, no driving...super stoked to get out, even if it is just for a fire road afternoon cruise.

Parts for the next upgrade started arriving....I want to work on my truck this weekend, but i think it is going to rain again so I'll wait one more week!
