Hello all, need some help! What are my options other than replacing the whole rear end housing due to the passenger rear shock mount rusted out. Basically, the bolt that holds the shock will not screw in because the hole threads dont exist anymore. SMH.

Is there a replacement mount that can be welded on? Thanks in advance!

Pictures???

From what you provided, you have two options: drill and tap for timeserts (or equivalent) or weld new brackets on the axles. Neither is a big deal, well bigger deal than replacing spark plugs, but...not hard. Or, drill it out for clearance and use a nut.

Yeah I panicked lol, your suggestion as well with other threads I read supported that. So I am in the process of rethreading it to support a slightly larger bolt.
