I did a full suspension rebuild a couple years back. I've only driven the vehicle maybe 1,000 miles since then. Full AHC delete/removal. Slinky/Icon kit stage 4 or whatever, Trail Tailor rear upper/lower arms, Timbren bumpstops all around, Trail Tailor extended sway bar endlinks, new OEM front lower control arms, Blackhawk front uppe rcontrol arms. I'm sure I am forgetting something but there's not a single old piece of rubber on that car. Engine/tranny mounts are still good, it was a garaged northern car with 100k miles.
IDK man, I would have to solidify my opinion but the ride is far from plush at low speeds. It doesn't really soak up the bumps at all, just send a jarring sensation through the steering wheel/entire cabin if I was being honest.
This is an 07 Lexus LX by the way. My 80 doesn't feel like this at all.
Maybe Toyota just went downhill with their Land Cruisers after the 90's and started building rattle traps, who knows.
My boss's old 04 Land Cruiser also rode like absolute dogs*** (which had all oem suspension and A/T tires) compared to his current 08 GX.
