Hello all. I have had a fj60 for a long time, but new to pickups and 4runners
I'm looking for advice on what questions to ask or things to look out for on a 1987 2 wheel drive pickup with a Chinook convention. Thanks all.

Hey. I'm not an expert, but can provide some advice/thought.

Camper: Look for rot in the structure and rust where it connects to the frame. Look for any signs of water damage (mold, mildew, discoloration, etc.). Ask about repairs and really inspect around the windows and doors.

Truck: 87 should be IFS, so check shock boots and steering components. the 22RE is a pretty reliable engine, so really look for leaks and damage. The AC tends to blow like crap inside the cab, but is usually an easy fix.

I have an 88 pickup right now (4x4), so feel free to ask questions after you take a look.
