A good impact wrench has never failed me.
Yeah, that was not happening with this one, no problems with any of the others I've been playing with.
It took several rounds of all my weight on my 30" breaker.
This case seems to have a larger and hardened output shaft.

Again??? 🤷

From my experience, make a soft line that allows the caliper to come off the axle before you need to pull it off and you can not. A lot easier to do it now before you bleed all the brakes and make a mess. You could even use some short lines from the front of a FJ40. Just an idea.

That's a great call Rob, thanks!

If you don't know, that's @jamarquardt22 ^^^ killing it with the mig!
He paid the Trekker a visit last weekend and helped officially creat a "built" truck.

He modified and fabricated an awesome rear shock tower, 4" above the stock location, currently shopping 16" shocks for the rear :bounce2:

He helped get my steering box mount and frame plates squared away and burned in the rear springs hangers solid!

He basically came and solidified everything I have been mocking up and twerking with for the last six months.

Should be mostly final assembly at this point!

A big thank you Andy

Wow you’re gonna need 16” shocks in the rear with those Nissan springs?

That is some awesome work, right there... very nice, Andy!

Picking away, wire brushing, scraping, priming, painting.....

Andy insisted on putting the new rear upper shock mouth behind the rear axle where the LSP valve used to reside.
I thought I would keep it, but I'm glad I pulled it off the frame because it is completely dysfunctional and rusted all the way shut.
