Hey I have an 81 pickup that according to the emmissions tests is running on basically straight gasoline. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this. I have tried fine tuning the carb but the engine doesn't seem to respond. Also my Truck won't idle right, which i think will be solved if i can fix the carb issue. Any help is good

Question. Is this a California truck? The reason I ask is the CA trucks have an OX sensor (at least my 82 did). Most folks with CA carb'd trucks don't know about the Ox sensor. A failed sensor will cause the truck to run rich. BTDT.
